Doda Police Seizes Passenger Vehicle Due to Traffic Violations
In its ongoing effort to curb traffic violations, Doda Police confiscated a vehicle in the Gandoh area for flouting traffic laws.
According to Doda Police, acting on reliable information, a Sumo vehicle with registration No. JK02AG-6619, driven by Tousif Ahmed, was observed driving recklessly from Gandoh to Kahara, endangering both passengers and pedestrians. The vehicle was found to be overloaded beyond its capacity during inspection.
Following this incident, a case (FIR No. 28/2024) has been filed at the Gandoh Police Station, and an investigation is underway under the supervision of Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO PS Gandoh.
Doda Police urges the public to cooperate by reporting instances of reckless driving or any other traffic violations. Stringent actions, including suspension of driving licenses and FIR registration, will be taken against violators.
