Doda Police Hosts Awareness Program on New Criminal Laws in Phagsoo

Doda Feb. 10, 2025: On the directions of SSP Doda, Shri Sandeep Mehta-JKPS, J&K Police District Doda organized an awareness program at Panchayat Ghar Jangalwar Tehsil Phagsoo Thathri to educate trainees on newly enacted criminal laws and other key legal issues.

SHO PS Thathri Inspr Suresh Kumar, addressed the gathering, highlighting the key provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), 2023. The session also covered topics such as cybercrime, traffic regulations, women’s safety, and drug abuse prevention.
