Doda Health-Department Holds NCD Screening Camps District-Wide
DODA MAY 26 As part of the weekly activity, the Health Department Doda organized NCD (Non-Communicable Disease) screening camps across various health centres in District Doda on May 25, 2024. These camps aimed to screen patients visiting for routine OPD (Outpatient Department) and medical checkups for hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes.
The primary objective of these screening camps is to promote health through the early detection of diseases. By identifying these conditions early, the Health Department ensures that patients receive appropriate management and treatment from the beginning.
During the screening, health professionals diligently checked patients for signs of hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes, providing them with essential information and guidance on managing these conditions. This proactive approach is vital in preventing the progression of such diseases and improving overall health outcomes in the community.
