Doda District, an important region in the Jammu and Kashmir electoral landscape, is gearing up for the first phase of the Assembly Elections 2024.
The district is home to 3,10,586 registered voters, which includes 1,60,057 males, 1,50,521 females, and 8 transgender individuals across three key Assembly constituencies: Bhaderwah, Doda, and Doda West.
To facilitate the voting process, a total of 534 polling stations have been strategically placed across these constituencies, ensuring that every voter has the opportunity to cast their vote.
AC 52-Doda, with its balanced voter distribution, has a total of 98,582 voters, comprising 50,546 male voters, 48,034 female voters, and 2 transgender voters.
The constituency is supported by 171 polling stations, highlighting its importance in the district’s electoral dynamics.
AC 51-Bhaderwah has emerged as the largest constituency in the district, boasting 1,24,568 registered voters.
The voter breakdown includes 63,944 male voters, 60,618 female voters, and 6 transgender individuals. To accommodate this significant voter base, 196 polling stations have been allocated.
AC 53-Doda West features 87,436 voters, including 45,567 males and 41,869 females, with no registered transgender voters. This constituency is served by 167 polling stations, ensuring smooth electoral management.
