The e-learning course brought the power of education directly to the inmates, providing them with opportunities to pursue higher education and acquire valuable skills while serving their sentences. The initiative demonstrates the university’s commitment to creating educational opportunities for all, regardless of an individual’s circumstances.
Dr. Jatinder Manhas, Head of the Department of Computer Science & IT, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, emphasizing the transformative power of education and the importance of extending educational outreach to incarcerated populations.
