Demand For Press Club for Doda Intensifies, District Media Association submits Memorandum
Doda, October 18: The District Media Association, under the leadership of its president Fiaz Pampori, met with the Deputy Commissioner of Doda today to submit a formal memorandum, calling for the creation of a Press Club in the district. During the meeting, the DC expressed his support for the initiative and assured the association that a suitable site for the proposed Press Club would be identified soon.
The Deputy Commissioner also extended his congratulations to the media fraternity on the formation of the District Media Association, acknowledging it as a crucial step towards fostering unity and professionalism within the media community in Doda.
The delegation included notable members such as Arpan Kumar, Yawer Khurwani, Asgar Batt, Raies Gattu, Parviaz Batt, Parul Dubey, Sulinder Parihar, Simran Sharma, Hafeez Ahmed, Yasir Hussian, Amarjeet, and several others, all of whom underscored the importance of establishing the Press Club for enhancing media activities in the district.
