
Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Congress vows to provide Rs 8,500 financial assistance to unemployed youth if voted to power
As the Assembly elections in India’s capital city, Delhi, are nearby, political pressure is high. The Indian National Congress party has vowed to support with financial assistance educated unemployed youths if voted to power.

Sachin Pilot, who is AICC’s General Secretary during the press conference, said that if the Congress party is voted to power, financial assistance would be provided to the unemployed youths under the scheme “Yuva Udaan Yojana.”.
The unemployed youths who excel with their skills in a factory or organization will be financially supported. Under this scheme, Rs 8500 would be provided.
He said the money would be delivered through these companies but cautioned that this scheme is not for the individuals sitting in their homes. However, it is yet unknown, what’s going to be the eligibility criteria or the workout.

He stated that focus would be on absorbing the individuals in the respective fields where they got training so that their skills can be improved.
Similarly, the Congress Party announced the financial assistance of Rs 2,500 for women under the Pyaari Didi Yojana if voted to power. On January 08, the party announced the free health insurance of Rs 25 lakh under the Jeevan Rakhsa Yojana.
As now the elections are going to be held on February 05, 2025, whereas the counting of votes is to occur on Feb 08.
