Dead Body Found in Doda, J-K; Investigation Underway

The body of a 60-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances near Parshola Nallah in Doda district.

“On Wednesday, around 11:00 am , a man went to the nearby forests with his sheep for grazing. When he did not return home for hours, his family and locals started searching for him.

After several hours, his body was found in the evening near Parshola Nallah under suspicious circumstances,” officials said.

DM Doda Calls Stakeholders for Final Hearing on Pending Grievances

A police team from Police Post Mahalla reached the spot and took the body into their possession for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased has been identified as Nazir Ahmad (60), son of Mahmdu Harga, a resident of Breswana, Doda.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. (GNS)
