
DDC Chairman DS Kotwal Guides Block-Level Amrit Kalash Yatra in Bhalla Honors National Heroes
DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal along with Vice chairperson sangeeta Bhagat, DFO Bhaderwah Chandrashekhar, BDC Chairperson Bhalala Nousheena, Tehsildar Bhalla Manjeet Katal BDO Bhalla Mahesh participated in block level Amrit Kalash Yatra under Meri Maati Mera Desh program as Chief Guest held at Block development office Bhalla.
Cultural program was also organised where patriotic songs were sung . Nagni cultural group presented beautiful cultural item Different PRI members of the block spoke on the occasion.
DDC chairman while speaking on the occasion highlighted the significance of celebration of meri matti mera desh program across the country which aims to pay tribute to our national and local heroes who laid down their lives while performing their duties.
Matti from different panchayats of block Bhalla was brought by the sarpanches and Matti from different blocks from entire nation will be taken to New Delhi where amrit vatika will be constructed.
Chairman also said that after abrogation of 370 all the central laws have been made applicable to the UT of jammu and Kashmir which has led to unprecedented development . Also the panchayats have also been empowered and enjoy a greater role in the development.
Among others sarpanches of the Bhalla Block, PRI members, prominent members, officials of the department were present on the occasion.After the event visited Primary Health Center Bhalla and and listened to the issues faced by the hospital authorities in smooth running and also talked to higher authorities to resolve the issues on priority.
