
DC, SSP Doda grace ‘Siraj-2023’ a Cultural Conclave cum 46th Annual Day Celebrations of GMHSS

The 46th Annual Day Celebrations of Green Model Higher Secondary School Doda, held under the theme “SIRAJ 2023,” illuminated the cultural and traditional essence of Doda district at the splendid Sports Stadium.
The event, attended by esteemed dignitaries, was a vibrant spectacle of joy and enthusiasm. Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom. Among the other notable attendees were Ved Prakash Gupta, President of the Municipal Council Doda, the Chief Education Officer of Doda, Deputy Director Employment Doda, ASP Doda, DIO Doda, Principal DIET Doda, and officers from the Indian army.

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome to the guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Shri Vishesh Mahajan and Guest of Honour Shri Abdul Qayoom, accompanied by the school’s Principal and distinguished personalities.
Mr. Om Parkash Chandail Chairman of Green Model Higher Secondary School extended a heartfelt welcome to the guests and the gathered audience. The school’s Principal presented the annual report, emphasizing the achievements and milestones of the institution.A moment of immense pride and honor unfolded during the Annual Prize Distribution ceremony, where students received recognition and accolades for their excellence in both academics and co-curricular activities.
Meritorious students were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements. The Sports Stadium in Doda was transformed into a colourful and vibrant setting adorned with banners and decorations.The highlight of the event was the mesmerizing cultural program that captivated the audience. Beginning with a performance depicting national integration and communal harmony, the evening featured Bollywood dances, traditional dances, folk performances, and various other captivating cultural items.
Students from nursery to 12th grade enthusiastically participated, showcasing their hidden talents.
The cultural presentations touched upon diverse themes, including lessons in morality and patriotism.In his address, Chief Guest Shri Vishesh Mahajan emphasized the pivotal role of education in the progress of any state.
