DC Harvinder Singh Inaugurates Waste-to-Resource Training Program in Bhaderwah
DODA DECEMBER 4: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda officially launched a 30-day training program focusing on waste-to-resource creation through paper machine craft. The initiative falls under the District Skill Training Programme and is organized by the Department of Handicraft Doda.
Notable attendees included the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dil Mir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) Bal Krishan, Assistant Director (AD) Handcraft Mohammad Ashraf, Teshildar Bhadewah, BDO Bhaderwah among others.
The event aimed to enhance skills and promote sustainable practices in crafting through innovative approaches.
During the inauguration, the DC inspected stalls showcasing the craftsmanship of the Department of Handicraft Doda. Additionally, the DC engaged in positive interactions with the department’s staff, assessing the proper functioning and coordination necessary for the department’s effective operation. This proactive involvement aims to ensure the department’s optimal performance for the overall benefit of the region.
