DC Doda Terminated 2 GRS Employee in Doda on Corruption Charges

Doda May 05 : Whereas, the services of Mr. Basharat Hussain Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS) Panchayat Jakyas-A and Mr. Afaq Ahmed GRS of Panchayat Chinyas, Block Jakyas were suspended vide order issued under endorsement No. DCD/PA- 03/24/163-165 Dated 30.04.2024.

Enquiry Report Unveils Corrupt Practices

Whereas, vide order issued under endorsement No. DCD/PA-03/24/167-70 Dated 30.04.2024. Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda was appointed as Enquiry Officer and the Assistant Commissioner Development Doda was appointed as presenting officer who were supposed to submit a detailed report regarding allegations of corrupt practices adopted by the above said officials during discharge of their duties in Block Jakyas.

Termination of Employment

Whereas, the Enquiry Officer has submitted the detailed report vide letter No. 44/PA/ADC/D/2024 Dated 03.05.2024 which establishes that both the delinquent officials (GRS) have adopted corrupt and unethical practices during discharge of their legitimate and lawful duties on multiple occasions.

In view of the above, Mr. Basharat Hussain GRS Panchayat Jakyas-A, engaged vide No. ACDD/NREGA/SS/2009/11183-95 dated 10-12-2009 and Mr. Afaq Ahmed GRS Panchayat Chinyas, Block Jakyas, engaged vide Order No. ACDD/NREGA/SS/2009/17593-97 Dated 25-02-2010, are hereby terminated from the services of Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS) under MGNREGA with immediate effect.
