    Doda, October 13: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, led a comprehensive meeting with revenue officers from the department, evaluating the progress and priority initiatives. The session aimed at ensuring efficient public services and adherence to timelines.

    The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the significance of adhering to the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) timeline. He stressed the importance of transitioning to online services and e-office procedures. Timely handling of applications related to online services for land records, Change of Land Use (CLU), and all services under PSGA was emphasized. Directions were issued to avoid reverting or delaying applications after the stipulated 72-hour period.

    Focus on State Land Allotment and Upcoming Conference

    The meeting also discussed the allocation of state land to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). An upcoming mega Lumbardar and Chowkidar Conference on October 28, 2023, was proposed to sensitize them about their legitimate duties in enhancing revenue services. The concerns related to Lamberdars and Chowkidars were addressed, stressing their critical role in the system.

    Enhancing Efficiency and Addressing Land Issues

    Revenue officers were instructed to closely monitor revenue-related documents and introduce geo-tagging for relief and developmental cases. Addressing state land matters and Roshni land issues, the DC urged officials to initiate anti-encroachment drives to reclaim encroached state land.

    Progress on Multiple Fronts

    The meeting delved into various aspects, including Change of Land Use (CLU) cases, Revenue Court Cases, SVAMITVA, Audit Paras, Administrative Inspections, Attestation of mutation, Status of domicile/other certificates, and other relevant issues. Revenue officers were urged to be accessible to the public, maintain zero tolerance for corruption, and ensure prompt paperwork and replies.

    DC emphasized following proper norms and procedures during Girdawri and court cases, directing officers not to send communications directly to the Deputy Commissioner but to follow the appropriate channels. Officers were encouraged to remain vigilant regarding situations that could disrupt peace and harmony.

    The meeting was attended by various officials, including ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, ACR Doda, SDMs, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars (virtually), Accounts Officer, and other concerned revenue department officials.
