Cyber Cell of Jammu Kashmir Police Recovers ₹50,000 in Ramban District
Ramban July 16, 2024 : Cyber cell DPO Ramban, a dedicated unit to deal with cases of online frauds and cyber crime, has successfully recovered hard earned money of the complainant which had been fraudulently transacted.
Brief facts of the case are that Cyber cell DPO Ramban received a complaint mentioning therein that the complainant lost money from her account as she got scammed by an unknown person.
During the course of indepth enquiry it has been found that the Complainant got a call from an unknown person, the said person told the complainant that she has to pay the amount in advance and in return they will gift her an expensive house hold item.
The complainant fell into the trap of fraudster and transferred the amount but later she learnet, it was a fraud.
During the Enquiry, the Cyber Cell DPO Ramban, acted swiftly and exhibited the ultimate professional excellence which resulted in recovery of defrauded amount Rs.50,000.
