Creative Guts Presents the Fourth Annual Art ‘Round the Room: An Interactive Art Experience for Adults
Manchester, NH – Creative Guts is excited to announce the return of Art ‘Round the Room, the fourth annual art event that offers adults the unique opportunity to explore a variety of art mediums at timed stations with guidance from professional artists. It’s a rare chance for grown-ups to unleash their creativity, learn, and play.
Art ‘Round the Room will be held on Sunday, November 8th, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at The Derryfield School, at 2108 River Road, Manchester, NH 03104.
No previous art experience is required. Participants of Art ‘Round the Room will have the opportunity to experiment with mediums like oil paints, acrylic paints, watercolor, pastels, charcoals, metalworking, collage, and printmaking. The event will be in the style of “speed dating” or “musical chairs”. Each station around the room will be staffed with a local, professional artist working in that medium.
Last year’s event was featured on WMUR’s NH Chronicle — watch the segment here!
Tickets are available for $45 at www.CreativeGuts.org/events. Space is limited, so the public is encouraged to secure their spot early. If cost is a barrier, please request a ticket fee waiver at hello@CreativeGutsPodcast.com.
Becky Barsi, Creative Guts Vice Chair, stated, “The goal of this event is not about creating a finished piece; it’s about inspiring new creative pursuits in a welcoming and fun environment. Whether you’ve dabbled in art or you’re someone who’s never picked up a paintbrush, this event offers a supportive and playful environment to experiment and connect with others.”
“The arts impact us all—as individuals and as a society,” stated Laura Harper Lake, Creative Guts Chair. “This event encourages individuals to invest in their artistic side. Like any other muscle, creativity is a muscle that needs to be exercised. Everyone can do art, you only need the guts to try it!”
