On Wednesday, the cold wave persisted in j-k due to a clear night sky, keeping the night temperatures several notches below freezing. The Meteorological Department predicts dry weather until February 14. Today, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 2, Gulmarg reached minus 10, and Pahalgam experienced minus 10.8.

In the Ladakh region, Leh town reported a minimum temperature of minus 16.2, while Kargil recorded minus 19.5.

Across Jammu and its surrounding areas, the minimum temperatures varied, with Jammu city at 5 degrees, Katra at 4.1 degrees, Batote at minus 0.4 degrees, Bhaderwah at minus 2 degrees, and Banihal at minus 0.3 degrees.
