A child slipped into a borewell in Delhi’s Keshopur area on Sunday, as reported by officials. The incident occurred at a depth of approximately 40-50 feet within the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) plant in the Keshopur Mandi region.

Teams from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and Delhi Police are actively engaged in the rescue operation. In response to the incident, five fire tenders were promptly dispatched to the location.

The NDRF rescue team, led by Inspector-in-Charge Veer Pratap Singh, plans to initiate a parallel borewell rescue operation, anticipating a potentially lengthy process. Additional details are awaited.
