Central Government Approves Appointment of Two Additional Judges of J-K and Ladakh High Court as Permanent Judges
In a recent development, the Central Government has approved the appointment of two additional judges of the J&K and Ladakh High Court as permanent judges.
Union Minister of State with independent charge of the Law and Justice Ministry, Arjun Ram Meghwal, shared this information on the social media platform X (Twitter).
The two judges who have been elevated to permanent status are Justice Rahul Bharti and Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi.
The Supreme Court collegium recommended their permanent appointments on January 4, and they were initially appointed as additional judges on March 28, 2023.
This move is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the judiciary in the region.
