Celebrate Beating Retreat: Ministry of Defence Organizes Online Contest

In an effort to bring the spirit of Indian tunes to the Beating Retreat Ceremony at Vijay Chowk on January 29, 2024, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting an online contest from January 22-29. This contest invites participants to create video clips with the tune of the Beating Retreat Ceremony 2024, either through Vocal or Instrumental modes.

How to Participate

During the contest period, participants can showcase their musical talents by uploading their video entries on a dedicated platform on the MyGov portal. The competition promises exciting prizes, with the 1st prize being ₹25,000, 2nd prize ₹15,000, and 3rd prize ₹10,000.

Eligibility and Rules

Participation is open to Indian citizens, and individuals are allowed to submit only one entry in the contest. Interested participants must provide complete details to enter the competition and contribute to the celebration of the Beating Retreat Ceremony.
