The CBI has ensured their welfare, protection, and care by handing them over to the District Child Protection Officer, Kamrup Metro District.
These developments follow the emergence of photos of the two deceased students, which sparked heightened tension in various districts of the state. Reports of clashes between security forces and student protestors added to the gravity of the situation.
