British Airways Flight Returns to New Delhi

A British Airways flight destined for London Heathrow had to turn back to New Delhi shortly after takeoff on Friday following indications of a fire, as confirmed by airport officials.

The incident involved the British Airways BA-142 flight, which had initiated its journey from New Delhi Airport.

Around 9:53 am on Friday, a full emergency was declared for the flight due to indications of fire lights, prompting an immediate notification to all relevant authorities. Consequently, the decision was made to return the flight to New Delhi.

The flight successfully landed back at New Delhi Airport at approximately 10:26 am, and by 10:55 am, the full emergency status was terminated. Awaited in this incident is an official statement from the airlines regarding the situation and the subsequent course of action.
