Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLA Lasya Nandita Tragically Dies in Hyderabad Road Accident
In a tragic incident, Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLA Lasya Nandita lost her life in a road accident in Hyderabad. The 37-year-old, a first-time MLA, suffered severe injuries when her vehicle lost control and collided with a road divider. Rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident, Lasya Nandita succumbed to her injuries. The driver involved is critically injured and receiving medical treatment. This marks the second accident for Lasya in ten days, having survived a previous one in Narkatpally.
Political Journey and Recent Election Victory
Lasya Nandita, born in Hyderabad in 1986, entered politics a decade ago, initially serving as a corporator from Kavadiguda since 2016. Following her father G Sayanna’s passing last year, Lasya took up the mantle to continue his legacy. In the 2023 Telangana assembly elections, she secured victory and became an MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment.
