Asian Paints opens 8 new décor stores in Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 23: Asian Paints, India’s leading paint and décor brand, has strengthened its presence in Jammu & Kashmir with the launch of eight experiential outlets — four ColourIdeas showrooms and four Colour Cube shop-in-shops.

With five outlets already in Srinagar, the expansion marks the largest retail network by any paint and décor brand in the Union Territory. New stores are also planned in Baramulla, Sopore, Ganderbal, Budgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag, making premium décor solutions more accessible to customers across the Valley.

Unlike traditional paint shops, ColourIdeas showrooms provide an immersive experience where customers can see, touch and visualise wall textures, wallpapers and luxury finishes. Each store has a dedicated WoodTech zone tailored for Kashmiri homes, featuring Italian wood finishes for khatamband ceilings and the exclusive Aks-e-Kashmir texture range. Visitors can preview over 3,000 shades in 3D, explore designer wallpapers like Sabyasachi and Good Earth, and access professional colour consultations.

The smaller Colour Cube formats, located inside dealer outlets, display curated paint and wallpaper options within a compact 100–150 sq. ft. space. They also promote Asian Paints’ Beautiful Homes Painting Services, which guarantee professional execution with set timelines.
