Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari secured a seat in Pakistan’s National Assembly from NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad uncontested, as reported by Pakistan-based Dawn. The process unfolded after Aseefa filed her nomination papers on March 17, with the returning officer approving her candidature following scrutiny on Thursday. Notably, three other candidates withdrew their names from the by-poll, paving the way for her unopposed victory.
