Several Arab foreign ministers, including representatives from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Egypt, Morocco, and Jordan, convened in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to discuss the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza.

The meeting, part of the 159th regular session of the Foreign Ministerial Council, aimed to strengthen cooperation and address urgent matters related to the besieged Gaza Strip.

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan participated, with the session presided over by Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Al-Thani.

GCC Secretary General Jassim Al-Budaiwi condemned the indiscriminate bombing by Israeli forces in Gaza, highlighting the systematic destruction of civilian facilities.

The forum emphasized the atrocities in Gaza, resulting in numerous Palestinian casualties and extensive infrastructure damage, hindering access to vital resources and aid for the population.
