Union Minister Anurag Thakur revealed that the ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ portal, set to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to provide a platform for millions of Indian youth to actively participate in nation-building efforts. Thakur made this announcement after attending the 106th edition of PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
Run For Unity Program and ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ Portal Launch
During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, PM Modi encouraged citizens to organize the Run For Unity program on October 31. The Meri Maati Mera Desh program, which focuses on India’s soil and the nation, will conclude in Delhi on the same day. On this occasion, the ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ portal will be officially launched, providing a platform for millions of young Indians to actively engage in nation-building initiatives.

Record-Breaking Sales of Khadi Products
Thakur also highlighted the remarkable sales of Khadi products this month, which was acknowledged by PM Modi during his radio address. PM Modi noted that Khadi product sales, which were once limited to around 30,000 crore rupees, are now approaching nearly 1.25 lakh crore rupees. This surge in Khadi sales has a positive impact on various communities in both urban and rural areas.The ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ platform, along with the continued success of Khadi, reflects the government’s commitment to engaging and empowering the youth and promoting indigenous products.
