Air India Reveals New Livery and Logo for Aircraft
Air India has shared the first look of its aircraft with the new livery and logo as part of its rebranding exercise. The updated logo features a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Air India Maharaja mascot. The redesigned mascot is sleeker and more stylized, with a fresh color palette incorporating shades of red, white, and purple. The new color scheme maintains the distinctive red lettering associated with Air India, along with a unique font. The aircraft also features a prominent red patch on the underside, complemented by the words “Air India” in white. Tata Sons Chairman Chandrashekaran explained that the new logo symbolizes limitless possibilities, progress, confidence, and more. Tata Sons acquired a complete ownership stake in Air India in January 2022 and has plans to merge Air India and Vistara into a single entity.
