An Air India aircraft scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Delhi on Saturday evening made a precautionary return to Kathmandu airport following concerns raised during take-off. The pilots decided to return after hearing a noise, suspecting a possible tail strike. An airline official emphasized that this decision was taken as a safety measure, highlighting the airline’s commitment to passenger and aircraft safety.

Unserviceable Door Issue Resolved Prior to Take-Off

Before the take-off, the crew noticed that a door on the aircraft was unserviceable after boarding passengers. Following necessary airworthiness protocols, the aircraft was subsequently cleared for take-off.
