
ADGP Armed visited Armed Complex AmbGharota Jammu
JAMMU, 17 February, 2025: Shri. Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Armed J&K visited Armed Complex Amb Gharota to take stock of the functioning of the IRP 7TH and Border 1st Battalion stationed at the complex. The ADGP was accorded a warm welcome on reaching the complex.
On his arrival the ADGP was presented Guard of Honour by a contingent of IRP-7th Bn. During the visit, ADGP Armed conducted thorough inspection of all the battalion establishments including administrative block, Jawans barracks, Mess, Kot, MT Fleet, Canteens, Stores and general area of the twin units.

The ADGP stressed upon the Officers to maintain cleanliness and conduct cleanliness drives regularly around the complex area to maintain hygiene. It was also impressed upon the concerned COs to get the medical examination of all the personnel conducted in order to improve the overall health standards.

Stressing upon the personnel for more physical activity at battalion level, the ADGP directed the Officers to restart PT & outdoor trainings of personnel to make them physically fit in order to improve their physical strength to deal with the challenging situation.

The Officers were impressed upon to devise mechanism for physical activities and issuance of sports roaster, so that the battalion personnel will get opportunity to nurture their talents for better opportunities in the arena of sports and imbibe sense of responsibility.
Among others the officers who were presented on the occasion include Ms. Sarah Rizvi, IPS, DIG, IRP Jammu, Pawan Parihar, SSP CO IR-7th Bn Ashok Sharma, SSP, CO Border 1st Battalion, other GOs and NGOs of the concerned units.
