DODA, MARCH 11:- In a proactive move, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda, Sh. Manoj Kumar, orchestrated a comprehensive review meeting with all Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Engineering staff. The focus was on evaluating the performance under Capex and various Rural Development Department (RDD) schemes.

During the meticulous review of the Physical and Financial progress of District Capex Budget 2023-24/CD & PYT 2023, MGNREGA, and PMAY in the district, ACD Doda emphasized the importance of timely project completion. Setting stringent deadlines, the ACD urged the completion of pending Geo tags under MGNREGA and PMAY-G within a swift 2-day timeframe.

Addressing expenditure concerns related to the approved works under the Area Development Plan, the ACD Doda set a clear directive – ensure 100% expenditure by March 20, 2024. Additionally, BDOs were tasked with the physical completion of all works before the fiscal year-end. To enhance efficiency, the ACD instructed BDOs to promptly conduct performance appraisals for all supporting staff of MGNREGA, facilitating the identification and disengagement of non-performing personnel.

The ACD further emphasized the need for continuous monitoring of works to achieve all targets effectively. He stressed the significance of quick redressal of public issues and encouraged regular field visits by the BDOs and Engineering staff to ensure the smooth implementation of RDD schemes.
