In the morning hours of the day, an accident has been reported on Doda’s batote road near Gharsoo area. An Innova vehicle, bearing registeration number JK 11A 4575, during overtake, got tripped with a metador and a maruti vehicle, resulting in a triple vehicle clash says local sources.

As the news came in, the locals, police team started a rescue operation. As per hospital sources, around 8 persons have received normal injuries, have been shifted to GMC & AH Doda for medical aid.

Police sources says, a notice has been taken in this regard.

It’s pertinent to mention here, that this section of the road lacks crash barriers, which can result into major fatal accident. Administration and Nhidcl should install these barriers to avert any further accident.

Former MLA Doda, Shakti Raj Parihar took to Facebook, and expressed sadness over this accident and wished speedy recovery of injured ones.
