
AAP Announces First List of Candidates for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Polls image/ANI
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled its first list of 10 candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. This includes nominees for two seats in Bhopal district, presently held by the BJP. The AAP is the third political party, after the BJP and the BSP, to release its initial list of candidates for the year-end polls. The party plans to contest in all 230 assembly seats in the state currently governed by the BJP.
Among the candidates announced are Sajjan Singh Parmar for the Govindpura seat and Dr. Ravikant Dwivedi for Huzur in Bhopal district. Both of these seats are currently held by BJP MLAs.
The list also includes Sanjay Dubey for Sewda, Surendra Singh Tomar for Dimani, Ramesh Upadhyay for Morena, Komal Damor for Petlawad-ST, Sarita Pandey for Sirmour, IS Morya for Sironj, Anendra Govind Mishra “Rajan” for Churhat, and Ram Ji Patel for Maharajpur.
The BJP had previously announced candidates for 39 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the BSP released the names of seven nominees.
