Sarazi Song Creates History at Goa International Film Festival

In a proud and historic moment for the Chenab Valley, the Sarazi music video “Ang Kurto Tuno Laal” has won the Best Music Award at the Goa International Film Festival Competition (GIFFC). This remarkable achievement marks the first-ever win by a Sarazi artist from the Chenab Valley at an international film festival, bringing immense pride to the entire region.


The award-winning music video is Song by Vijay Sharma a Sarazi artist from the Chenab Valley, whose powerful vocals and deep cultural connection gave life to the song. The video was directed by Dhanaraj Studioz,(Ravi Sharma) whose creative vision beautifully captured the essence, emotions, and traditions of the Sarazi culture.


“Ang Kurto Tuno Laal” is more than just a music video—it is a cultural expression that reflects the rich heritage, language, and lifestyle of the Sarazi community.
