
Jammu Kashmir Cricket Association Announces Squad for Ranji Trophy 2025
Srinagar, October 5, 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has officially announced its 20-member squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season, following the recommendations of the Senior Men’s Selection Committee chaired by Mr. Sarabjeet Singh.
According to Order No. 55/2025 issued by the JKCA, Paras Dogra has been named captain of the team. The squad features a blend of experienced players and promising young talents, reflecting a strategic balance aimed at enhancing J&K’s performance in the premier domestic tournament.
The selected players are:
Paras Dogra (Captain), Shubham Khajuria, Abdul Samad, Vivrant Sharma, Qamran Iqbal, Kawalpreet Singh, Sahil Lotra, Abid Mushtaq, Vanshaj Sharma, Yawer Hassan, Musaif Ajjaz, Sunil Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Umran Malik, Umar Nazir, Auqib Nabi, Kanhaiya Wadhawan, Yudhvir Singh, Mujtaba Yousuf, and Lone Nasir Muzaffar.
The support staff accompanying the team includes:
Ajay Sharma (Head Coach), P. Krishna Kumar (Bowling Coach), Dishant Yagnik (Fielding Coach), Hilal Ahmad (Manager), Ravi Sharma (Co-Manager), Sunny Verma (Trainer), Chirag Pandya (Physiotherapist), Susheel Pajnu (Video Analyst), and Naresh Kumar (Masseur).

The official order was signed by Brig. Anil Gupta (Retd.), Member Administration, JKCA, and issued from the association’s office at Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Srinagar.
With several key players such as Abdul Samad, Umran Malik, and Abid Mushtaq bringing IPL and domestic experience, the J&K team is expected to be a strong contender in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. The combination of senior leadership and youthful energy provides an optimistic outlook for the side as they aim to make a mark in India’s premier first-class cricket competition.
