
After MLA Mehraj Malik’s arrest, Doda reports slow Internet speed | Administration Cites Technical Issue
Doda: The users have reported slow internet speed across the different parts of the district after the arrest of MLA Doda Mehraj Malik under the Public Safety Act.
As per sources, users have reported very slow speed of internet in different areas of Doda district. This development came, after the arrest of MLA, who has been currently lodged into Katuha jail.
Yesterday, Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh Informed the assembly secretariat/speaker of arrest of MLA under Preventive detention (PSA) act after a dossier was sent, indicating that the MLA’s continued activities posed “a grave threat to peace, public order, and tranquility in the district.”
Unconfirmed reports getting viral states that the central govt has ordered the slow speed of the internet in many parts of the district to avoid any untoward incident or protest.
However, District Information Press Relation (DIPR) Doda, has stated in its facebook post states that administration has not slowed the internet and cited the technical issue in internet connectivity.

As the administration has hinted the restoration work is going on, hope the users not faces slow internet services for too long period.
