
Rajouri Mysterious Illness: Affected Patient Shows Recovery Signs; Offers a Glimmer of Hope
As the Rajouri’s Kotranka, Badhaal witnesses a scary and harsh winter, an unknown, mysterious illness kills 17 people, and many got affected, with a figure of 300+ being taken to quarantine centers under strict observation.
But now, the good news is coming from health authorities, and as per reports of news agency KNO, the affected patients are showing signs of recovery, which are encouraging and significant, which gives a sigh of relief.
Nearly, after 50 days of fear and uncertainty, providing a sigh of relief to the people. As per officials, fourteen people, currently under medical aid in different hospitals, are showing signs of recovery. As per KNO’s report, 11 patients are being treated at GMC Rajouri. Out of which, nine people are in ICU, whereas two are under observation. Visible improvement and encouraging signs are being seen, says Dr. Amarjeet Singh Bhatia, Principal of GMC Rajouri.
The principal of GMC Rajouri has also urged the public not to panic and further encourages the community to extend the support.
He further stated that this is not a virus or influenza; you can safely interact with them. On imposing the restriction, Principal GMC Rajouri stated that these people have lived freely in the forest, and if strict restrictions are imposed, maybe it would affect their mental health.
Good news is also coming from GMC Jammu, where three siblings were admitted, of which one was on a ventilator who is now being said to be stabilized. The senior doctors in Jammu and Chandigarh are jointly monitoring the circumstances in the condition of the patient referred to PGI Chandigarh from GMC Jammu.
Whereas, Principal GMC Jammu ruled out the possibility of a viral or influenza outbreak but noted the involvement of toxins or poison remains under investigation, reported KNO.
Jammu Kashmir Police has recently constituted an 11-member investigation team (SIT) to probe the illness. A central team has also taken 238 samples for testing to various institutes.
However, the administration has implemented the precautionary measures of the installation of CCTV cameras, deployment of female officers for the welfare of women, seizure of water bawli, and establishment of quarantine centers.
Whereas, the Animal Husbandry Department has been tasked to take care of the domestic animals at Badhal, Rajouri.
As the health authorities are checking each and every possible aspect with the aid of modern diagnostic tools, metagenomic and next-generation sequencing, and other facilities. As the health and research institutes are investigating the matter to track the mystery of the mysterious illness, recent steady recovery has offered a glimmer of hope for the people of Village Badhaal.
