On Tuesday, law enforcement authorities took action against a high-priority target within the world of narcotics smuggling in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. The individual in question, Azad Ahmad Ganie, hailing from the locality of Wachi, saw his residential property seized in accordance with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Notably, Azad Ahmad Ganie has been a prime target on law enforcement’s radar due to his alleged involvement in drug-related activities. To address his illicit actions comprehensively, he has also been charged under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act.
