Rajasthan approves anti-conversion bill
On Saturday, Rajsthan cabinet has approved the anti-conversion bill aimed to curb religious conversions, which will now be presented during the parliamentary session in the state legislature.
Chief Minister Rajsthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that bill which is proposed would now prohibit any person or institution from converting a person’s religion through fraud, force, influence or by some other way.
Jogaram Patel, who is the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Minister of Rajasthan, stated that decision taken by cabinet will lead to new era of developments, public work and prosperity.
While talking to microbloggig platform X, he stated this will lead to development, public welfare and prosperity in the region.
