Amid Israeli Extensive Operations in Lebanon, Foreigners Start to Flee

As Israel bombed the heart of Beirut and conducted extensive operations, citizens of various countries have started to flee from Lebanon.

A growing number of countries have evacuated their citizens, and governments are urging others to leave. With Israeli infantry troops conducting large-scale operations, during which eight soldiers were killed earlier in combat on Lebanese territory, serious concerns are being raised.

Following Iran’s 180-missile strike, both Israel and the United States have vowed to retaliate forcefully, heightening concerns in the oil-rich Middle East region.

The Israeli military bombed a building close to the parliament, killing at least six people. Australia has organized hundreds of airline seats to evacuate its citizens, while Russia arranged a special flight from Beirut to evacuate the families of diplomats.

Expatriates in Lebanon are scrambling to leave, though governments are still formulating plans to evacuate their citizens.

Fear is growing in the Middle East region, as Israel has vowed to retaliate following Iran’s missile strike.
