Apni Party Delegation Meets LG to Advocate for Infrastructural Development
A delegation led by Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari, along with party leaders from Rajouri district in the Pir Panjal Region, held a meeting with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to advocate for enhanced infrastructural development in the region.
Addressing Public Concerns and Grievances
The delegation apprised the Lieutenant Governor of public concerns and grievances stemming from the infrastructural deficit in the Pir Panjal region. They presented a comprehensive memorandum outlining their demands.
Key Demands
The demands put forth by the delegation encompass critical issues, including:
- Delimitation of Panchayat segments.
- Renaming specific areas.
- Establishment of a degree college in Kotranka.
- Inception of new degree colleges at Peeri and Khawas.
- Establishment of a Polytechnic college.
- Creation of a Gujjar Bakerwal hostel in Kotranka.
- Installation of a 400 KV receiving station in Rajouri.
- Establishment of a 33 KVA receiving station in Kotranka.
Delegation Members
The delegation was comprised of various prominent members, including Apni Party’s Vice President and former Minister Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, Party’s Provincial Senior Vice President Chowdhary Qamar Din, District President Rajouri Manzoor Ahmad Bukhari, and several Sarpanchs.
This meeting signifies a concerted effort to address and improve the infrastructural needs of the Pir Panjal Region and enhance the overall quality of life for its residents.
