RBL Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, has partnered with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to launch a new co-branded credit card that promises substantial rewards, including up to 250 liters of free petrol annually.
This collaboration, supported by Mastercard, aims to offer cardholders an innovative way to manage their finances and fuel purchases while earning valuable reward points with every transaction.
The launch was marked by a unique event that saw a group of bike riders set off on a 750 km journey from Chandigarh to Leh-Ladakh, symbolizing the spirit of chasing new horizons without the burden of fuel expenses.
The credit card was officially unveiled upon their arrival in Leh, adding a sense of adventure and excitement to the product’s introduction.
During the launch, Mr. Bikram Yadav, Head of Credit Cards at RBL Bank, highlighted the growing significance of fuel expenses in the monthly budgets of Indian consumers, especially given the rise in vehicle ownership across the country.
He expressed confidence that this new partnership would bring considerable value to both customers and the business.
Mr. N D Mathur, Executive Director of Retail Transformation at IndianOil, emphasized that the card aligns with IndianOil’s commitment to providing a seamless fueling experience and enhanced value at their retail outlets.
Similarly, Mr. Anubhav Gupta, Senior Vice President of Business Development, South Asia at Mastercard, noted that this collaboration introduces a high-value financial product that caters to the essential needs of consumers, ensuring convenient and secure payments alongside exciting rewards.
