Lava International introduced the Lava Yuva 5G in India, marking its latest addition to the 5G smartphone segment. Powered by the Unisoc T750 5G platform, this device claims the title of being the first phone in India to utilize this octa-core chipset.
Priced competitively, the Lava Yuva 5G starts at Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It comes in Mystic Blue and Mystic Green color options and will be available for purchase starting June 5 via Amazon, Lava e-store, and retail outlets. Lava offers a one-year warranty on the handset.
Equipped with Android 13, the Lava Yuva 5G assures two years of security updates and an upgrade to Android 14. It sports a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole punch cutout for the front camera. Under the hood, the Unisoc T750 5G SoC powers the device, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Lava Yuva 5G boasts a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter, along with an LED flash. On the front, an 8-megapixel camera sensor handles selfies, aided by a screen flash.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port. It also features sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Security-wise, the device offers fingerprint sensor support and face unlocking.
The smartphone houses a robust 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, delivering up to 28 hours of talk time on a single charge. With dimensions of 163.36×76.16×9.1mm and a weight of 208 grams, the Lava Yuva 5G aims to provide an affordable yet feature-packed 5G experience to Indian consumers.
