Jammu-Srinagar NH closed for traffic
Vehicular movement on National Highway-44 will be suspended tomorrow, May 21, 2024.
“On May 21, 2024, no vehicles, including those carrying fresh perishables, livestock, or security forces, will be allowed on NH-44,” stated a senior Traffic Police official.
Similarly, on May 20, vehicular movement was prohibited on the Jammu-Srinagar highway after 6 pm from Qazigund towards Banihal, Ramban, Doda-Kishtwar, Udhampur, and Jammu, and vice-versa.
Additionally, no vehicles were allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) after 5 pm and from Udhampur after 6 pm towards Patnitop, Doda-Kishtwar, Ramban, Gool, Banihal, Srinagar, and vice-versa.
