Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has called for the dismissal of the ruling coalition and urged for fresh elections without interference from the establishment. Addressing a press conference, Rehman criticized the current government’s performance, labeling it as weak due to the absence of major parties like the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Expressing concerns over Pakistan’s economic plight and the alleged influence of international financial institutions, Rehman questioned the legitimacy of recent elections, alleging bribery and corruption in the electoral process. He lamented the political culture of power-seeking and criticized the incumbent parliament, questioning its principles and democracy.
