CyberPeace Partners with GD Goenka University for Research and Training to Enhance Cybersecurity and Digital Policy
New Delhi, 25th April 2024: CyberPeace Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to cybersecurity and digital policy and advocacy, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with GD Goenka University. This alliance was signed by Prof. Dr. Anuradha Tiwary, Registrar of GD Goenka University, and Dr. Brinda Banerjee, Head of Tech Policy & Research at CPF, representing the leadership of their respective institutions.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Kim Menezes, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of GD Goenka University, and attended by Prof. (Dr.) Azimkhan, Head of School of Law, and Prof. (Dr.) Deevanshu Shrivastava, Assistant Dean. Under this partnership, CyberPeace and GD Goenka University will collaborate on various initiatives including academic and research projects, training workshops, and policy development programmes. The collaboration will commence with an international conference scheduled for June 2024. CPF and GD Goenka will jointly develop ‘Centres of Excellence’ at the intersection of cybersecurity, law, public policy, and tech research.
This collaboration provides students with access to cutting-edge training programs and research opportunities in the fields of cybersecurity and emerging technologies. Experiential learning and mentoring will help students gain the practical skills and knowledge essential for pursuing careers in cybersecurity, tech policy, and law. The partnership between GD Goenka and CPF will foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
