In a significant legal development, the judicial remand of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu has been extended by a local court until October 19 in connection with the Skill Development Corporation scam case. This marks the third extension of Mr. Naidu’s remand, as the previous extension came to an end on Thursday. Alongside this decision, the court has scheduled hearings for Mr. Naidu’s bail plea and the petition submitted by the Andhra Pradesh Police CID, seeking his custody, for Friday.

Representing the CID in court, Additional Advocate General P Sudhakar Reddy passionately argued for an additional five-day police custody for Mr. Naidu.
