Japanese music legend YOSHIKI, leader of X Japan and The Last Rockstars, is set to perform the U.S. national anthem at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00pm as part of “Hello Kitty Night.” YOSHIKI will deliver a live piano rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” just before the Dodgers face off against the Washington Nationals. Celebrating Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary

Earlier this year, it was announced that YOSHIKI will create the global theme song for Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Hello Kitty, created in 1974, is the world’s most famous character with a presence in over 130 countries and more than 50,000 branded products. YOSHIKI and Hello Kitty’s enduring friendship began with the release of “yoshikitty” and has since been celebrated at YOSHIKI’s concerts in Japan.
