10 Terrorists Killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
Pakistan’s security forces, in separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, successfully neutralized ten terrorists. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that four terrorists were eliminated during an intelligence-based operation, followed by four more during a sanitization operation. In another operation, five terrorists attempting to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border were identified, resulting in the elimination of two, and injuries to three others. The ISPR emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to securing its borders and urged the interim Afghan government to enhance border management to prevent terrorist activities.
Ongoing Counter-Terror Operations in North Waziristan
Security forces in Pakistan conducted operations over two days in North Waziristan, eliminating ten terrorists. In one operation, four terrorists were neutralized during an intelligence-based operation, with an additional four eliminated in the follow-up sanitization process. Separately, an operation on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border identified and neutralized two terrorists, with three others sustaining injuries. The ISPR highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to border security and urged the Afghan government to enhance measures to prevent terrorist activities originating from Afghan soil.
Security Forces Maintain Vigilance Amidst Increased Terror Activities
In response to heightened terrorist activities, Pakistan’s security forces conducted successful operations in North Waziristan, eliminating ten terrorists. The surge in terror incidents, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, prompted a robust response. The ISPR emphasized the determination of Pakistan’s security forces to secure borders and eradicate terrorism from the country.
