The suspects attempted to flee upon seeing the police, but were apprehended tactfully. Subsequent searches uncovered 583 tablets of banned drugs in their possession. The arrested individuals have been taken to Police Station Dangiwacha, where they remain in custody.

In Ganderbal, a police party from Police Post Nagbal, stationed at Gratabal crossing, intercepted a vehicle (i10) with three occupants. The individuals were identified as Mohd Furqan Mir, Rayees Ahmad Makdoomi, and Dildar Ahmad Hajam. A thorough search of the vehicle revealed approximately 2.6 kilograms of crushed cannabis, leading to their immediate arrest. The arrested individuals and the seized vehicle have been shifted to the Police Station for further investigation.
