Srinagar-Jammu Highway Reopens for One-Way Traffic
In response to the challenging road conditions caused by heavy rains, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway (NH), traffic authorities have implemented a one-way traffic arrangement to ensure commuter safety.
As of Monday, only one-way traffic is permitted on the highway. Light motor vehicles are allowed to cross Nagrota until 12 PM, after which no vehicles will be permitted beyond this point.
Commuters are advised to check the road status before planning any travel on the Jammu-Srinagar highway, considering the evolving conditions.
